Yesterday it was the Oracle Partner Day in Madrid, it was a great event. I found the information very useful and honest. The event in general was dynamic, with short presentations and very easy to follow. I would like to highligh two presentations:
First one the presentation from the CEO of Avanttic (Jesús García Hernandez) who explained how a startup has became in one of the most important partners of Oracle in EMEA.
The other one was the presentation made by Carmen Oliván (Oracle) and the Implementation Sussecs Team, this is a new service (from 2 years ago) that Oracle offers to the consultants first and after the go-live to the customers itself. I know Carmen and is a really good professional.
I am working in Oracle world from 13 years ago in different companies, so this event was an opportunity to meet old friends like Diego o Iñaki from Deloitte, Oscar from Acevedo even my recent boss Javier from Everis and others that I could meet during the coffee breaks.
This was my first event on behalf of KPMG and as I mentioned it was a really nice experience.
Oracle promised to email us the presentations so I will try to update this post as soon as I get it. In the meantime I leave some pics.
